Competitiveness and motivation thanks to further training from Holzcluster Steiermark.

Companies in the forestry and timber industry are currently faced with challenges such as digitalisation, climate change and demographic developments – all of which have a major impact on markets and society. Identifying these factors in good time and specialising in future-oriented trends guarantees lasting success on both a national and international scale.

If we are to recognise such challenges in advance and overcome them, professional qualification should provide us with the skills needed to ensure continuous learning and work, to contribute to innovation and to enable our further development at a personal level.

Qualification concept

Our strength lies in our professional and consistent approach, which is simultaneously geared to innovation, both internally and externally, and is networked at a national and international level. This allows us to offer a range of high-quality qualification courses to our Cluster Partners.

We aim to provide qualification concepts catering for specific target groups, perfectly tailored to new requirements emerging in the branch, which are developed hand in hand with centres of further education and training.

Structure of qualification fields

The range of qualification programmes we offer is focused on specialist courses. The aim of these courses is to teach specific skills and capabilities to prepare successful participants for new tasks awaiting them in their career.

The range of subjects covered takes account of current developments and feedback received from industry and is constantly updated accordingly.

Interdisciplinary courses

These courses focus on the acquisition of qualifications from a wide variety of specialist sectors needed in today’s world of work. For this reason we also concentrate on topics such as communication or staff leadership.

Multi-cluster courses

Styria is one of Europe’s most innovative business hubs. Thanks to our cluster landscape, we also see multi-cluster topics as an important part of our qualification programme, generating new innovative impulses in different sectors.

“In the very first part of the online marketing course, we received very good technical tips and instructions, which we were able to implement ourselves without much effort. All in all it was a great qualification measure and a real benefit for us!”
